EPANJ – ILLEGAL PLAYER POLICY
Effective immediately, the following is how the Eastern PA & NJ office will handle illegal players. If a game is officially protested and an illegal player is determined:
Saturday: The illegal player is removed, the remainder of their games are forfeited for the day. They will be the last seeded team in the event. This player cannot be added to the roster for the remainder of the weekend.
- If a team would like to play in bracket play, they MUST play out all of the forfeited games on Saturday (including umpire fees if applicable).
- If a team chooses not to play the forfeited games, they will not be permitted to return on Sunday for bracket play.
Sunday: If a game is officially protested and there is an illegal player the team is ejected from the event.
PROTESTS:
Please understand that rosters are available to view publicly by coaches and families alike. In order to keep our day running smoothly and avoid unnecessary delays
- No additional information on a player will be provided to any coach without the official protest fee of $100.
- Protests can only be made by the team’s head coach.
- Parents cannot request any information regarding the illegality of players
- If a team wins their protest the $100 is returned.
