Good afternoon- We’ve just been notified by the Mercer County Park and Recreation Department that we will not be able to use the fields tomorrow. Despite hours of effort by field crews, several areas remain unplayable due to standing water and unsafe conditions. Mercer County Park (PJ) is officially cancelled for the remainder of the weekend. Refunds will be issued accordingly. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Soldier Park Update- Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain overnight, the facilities field crew has deemed the fields unplayable for today. We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates as soon as they become available.

With the ground already saturated from this week’s rain, any additional overnight rainfall will result in field closures. We are actively monitoring the radar, and it looks like New Jersey will be hit hard. As a result, all games scheduled at Princeton Junction for tomorrow are canceled. The park will notify us and reassess field conditions in the morning. New schedules will be released tomorrow. Solider Park is delayed until 10am. New schedule to come soon and further updates will be out in the AM. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to ensure safe and playable conditions.

As many of you are aware, we’re keeping a close eye on the impending weather. While conditions are currently sunny and beautiful across our park locations, we are aware that a storm system is approaching. Our office is actively monitoring the situation and will provide park updates by dinner time. As always, we’re doing our best to make the most informed and timely decision possible. Combining Divisions

The USSSA State Office will combine Open, A and B classifications if a division is in danger of being canceled due to lack of registrations. If the combined event has 12 or more teams, we will split the bracket for Sunday play. Bracket split percentage will be based on the number of teams in the event by registered class. Teams in the C classified events with insufficient numbers to hold an event, will be given the opportunity to play in a higher classification, if available, to ensure their opportunity to participate.
